Description: The U.S. Department of State, intends to issue a purchase order on sole source basis to VMWare, Inc.,3145 Porter Drive, Palo Alto, CA for on-site training course consisting of three individual modules that will cover all aspects of administering and maintaining the VMWare ESX software package. This acquisition is being processed under the FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed order based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The anticipated award date is September 27, 2004.
