- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. . This requirement is set-aside for small business only. Solicitation/Purchase Request number F1MWR142531900 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2001-24 effective 19 July 2004. The Government intends to award a contract for the following Line Items or equal: (CLIN 0001) Quantity four (4) TechnoGym USA Brand name or equal Upright exercise bike: split level console display, auto start feature, smooth, quiet belt-driven system, motivating workout programs, on-the-fly programming, comfortable ergonimic seat, wide pedals to accommodate larger shoes and longer flexible pedal straps featuring 11 adjustments to secure, comfortable hold on each foot; digital heart rate monitoring, convenient accessory tray, self powered with auto start. (CLIN 0002) Quantity four (4) TechnoGym USA Brand name or equal Recumbent exercise bike: split level console display, auto start feature, smooth, quiet belt-driven system, motivating workout programs, on-the-fly programming, comfortable ergonomic seat, wide pedals to accommodate larger shoes and longer flexible pedal straps featuring 11 adjustments to secure, comfortable hold on each foot; digital heart rate monitoring, convenient accessory tray, self powered with auto start. FOB: DESTINATION. Inspection and acceptance: DESTINATION. The following provisions and clauses apply to this procurement: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; 52.211-6 in accordance with the FAR 13.106-1(a)(2) offerors are notified that award will be made on the basis that price and technical acceptability are weighed equally. Offeror will be evaluated in accordance with FAR 13.106-2. FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items.
