Description
NSN: 2840-01-493-9080PR P/N: 9531M71G06 This is 100% set-aside for small business. Noun: TURBINE SHROUD SEGMENT Item Description: HPT shroud support and hanger provides structural support for the HPT shroud segments. Function: Support for the segments. It also acts as a cooling air conduit for those segments. It also provides a mating seal surface for the LPT Nozzle forward outer leaf seals. Material and Dimensions are as follows: The dimensions are Outside diameter 32? inside diameter 30? the axial width. Applicable to: F110-100 Engine Destination: FB2039 Delivery: Feb 2005 Estimated Qty: 22 each. The following ranges will be solicited 11 to 21 and 22 to 28. First Article Government Test will be required. Qualification Requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The solicitation will contain instructions for obtaining further information on this requirement. The qualification requirements for this item were established prior to 19 Oct 1984 and the requirements of FAR 9.202(A) do not apply. Qualification requirements apply to line item(s) 0001. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 08 October 2004. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 08 November 2004. The anticipated award date will be 16 December 2004. Written and electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. No telephone requests. Contractors must obtain a copy of the solicitation from the FedBizOpps website. This office no longer mails solicitations. Specifications, plans or drawings related to the procurement described are available. Directions for obtaining the specifications and drawings will be available with the solicitation. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation will identify the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. Note: Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government?s requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
