Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 7305 N. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Fl 33410 has a requirement to purchase 1. Model ATL-S390048/480 QC/E/2 Water Softening System Consisting of A. Two (2) fully automatic metered control valves. B. Two (2) 48? X 72? polyglass corrosion resistant softening tanks. Overall height 105?. C. Eighty cubic feet (80ft) of premium grade water softening resin. D. 1400 pounds of filtration quality gravel. E. One (1) 52? X60? round burine tank equipped with safety brine valve. F. One (1) set operation and maintenance manuals. G. One (1) 480QC/E/2 Digital Demand Meter System. Continuous flow rate 426 fallons per minute per system. Peak demand flow rate 560 fallons per minute per system. Backwash flow rate of 60 gallons per minute per softening tank. Rated softening capacity 1,600,000 grains at the most efficient salt setting. System warranty is one (1) year on the control Valves and five (5) years on the softening tank (s). 2. Installation of model ATL-S3900/480QC/E/2 Twin Tank High Efficiency Water Softening system. 3. The VA West Palm Beach is looking to purchase this system from Atlantic Filter Corporation, 3112 45th Street, West Palm Beach, FL 33407. This is an all or none purchase. Please provide your capabilities of providing these items and installation in writing to the Contracting Officer, no Faxes. E-mail will not be accepted. If no responses are received by September 28, 2004 @ 2:00 P.M. the award will be made to Atlantic Filter Corporation.
