Work to be performed is the following: a) Position bulkhead gates, dewater the work area, and control leakage through the outlet works; b) Surface preparation and painting of steel surfaces on the three outlet works guard gates and three regulating gates; c) Surface preparation and painting of interior surfaces of outlet pipe conduits and a portion of 21 feet diameter penstock; and, d) Repair of cavitation downstream of the three regulating gates. Location is Glendo Dam, located approximately 4 miles southeast of Glendo, Wyoming, in Platte County. The estimated price range for this job is between $25,001 and $100,000. Request for Quotations (RFQ) package is anticipated to be available on or around 10-01-2004. Quotations should be received on or before 11-04-2004, 4:00 PM MST; at the office of the Bureau of Reclamation, Wyoming Area Office, PO Box 1630, Mills, WY 82644.
