Description

Description of Work: The removal of approximately 1,000,000 cubic yards of dredged maintenance material with variable widths of 200 to 1,000 feet to required depths of 36 to 38 feet below MLT and 2 feet of allowable overdepth. Material will be deposi ted in open Bay, emergent, unconfined Placement Areas Nos. 16, 17, 18 and 19. No Levee Work. Bid Opening in Room 175 at 2:30 p.m. The Small Business Size Standard is $17 million and will be advertised UNRESTRICTED. The plans and specifications will be po sted at the Galveston District Website ONLY. Notification of amendments shall be made through paper or the Internet. However, the Government reserves the right to use only the Internet as notification of any changes to this solicitation. It is therefore th e contractors responsibility to check the following address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation. Contractors may view and/or download this solicitation and all amendments from the Internet after solicitation issuance at the following Interne t address http://www.swg.usace.army.mil/ct.
