Description

NOTICE TO AWARD: The U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Information Resource Management, Office of Chief Information Officer has a need to lease a dedicated 64 kilo bits per second circuit in support of the re-routing of an existing dedicated circuit between Washington and Moscow. The contractor will provide a dedicated 64 kbs circuit between the Pentagon, Silver Spring, Maryland, and Dubna Russia teleport. The requirement will also include the use of the INTELSAT 335.5 space platform, C band frequency range, an E1 drop and satellite modem that is electrically compatible with the Russian SM 2900 satellite modem, a Newbridge 3600 multiplexer supporting S422 and RS 232 interfaces. Twenty-four hour onsite technical support will be provided. Therefore, the U.S. Department of State, Office of Acquisition Managment intends to award a one year purchase order to G2 Satellite Solutions, International Voice Service, of 1801 K Street, Suite 440, Washington, D.C. in order to fulfill this requirement. The statutory authority to support this requirement is 10 USC 253 (c)(4).
