Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This requirement is being issued as a Request for Quote. The Request for Quote number is M0068104T0348. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-23 and DCN 2002/07/30. Please see below for specifications. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) Code is 332312 and the Business Standard is 500 employees. The Defense Priorities and Allocation System (DPAS) rating for this order is DO-C9E. The anticipated contract will be Firm Fixed Price. The Regional Contracting Office Southwest, Camp Pendleton has a requirement for the following items manufactured by Tandemloc, Inc., 824 Highway 101, Havelock, NC. The requirement is for the following item: CLIN 0001 (8 each) Stand, for ISO Containers up to 40?, with twist lock for interface with ISO Corner fittings. Each stand designed for a 40,000 lb load capacity for a total load capacity of 80,000 lbs with a safety factor of 3:1 to yield and brace for minimum 15 MPH wind load. Minimum overall dimensions to be 75.25? H X 97? W X 84 ?D; Finish: Sandblasted, Prime and Painted; Each stand should be affixed with a tag noting: WLL, WIND LOAD RATING, and MANUFACTURER. Tandemlock P/N AE14000A-1PA or equal. This requirement is for BRAND NAME OR EQUAL. The award will be made to lowest priced technically acceptable quoter who meets the salient characteristics. Commercial Items (MAY 2004(Copies of 52.212-3 are available upon request from the Contracting Office or the Internet at (www.arnet.gov/far), DFAR 252.225-7036 North American Free Trade Agreement Implementation Act (Applies to actions $25,000.00 - $100,00.00 (JAN 2004), DFAR 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration (NOV 2003). The offeror should also provide its Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) CODE, Contractor Establishment Code (DUNS number) and Tax Identification number. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Register to be considered for award (NO EXCEPTIONS). Register at http://www.ccr.gov/index.cfm. Any contract awarded as a result of this solicitation will be a DO rated certified for national defense used under the Defense Priorities and Allocations System. The facsimile transmission must clearly identify this notice and the name of the contracting officer on the first page. Submitters bear the burden of ensuring that the quotes reached the designated contracting office on time and should allow a reasonable time for facsimile transmissions to be complete! d. All pages of the transmission must reach the office before the deadline specified and pages of a facsimile transmission that arrive in the office after the specified deadline will not be considered. The submitter bears the risk of non-receipt of facsimile transmission and should confirm by telephone that any facsimile was received.
