- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The contractor will provide all tools, labor, equipment, and materials to complete this project in accordance with all federal, state, county, and local regulations and codes. Protect all facilities, grounds, equipment, and utilities not scheduled to recei ve work. Daily and final clean up are the responsibility of the finish contractor. Observe all safety, OSHA, DEQ, and EPA rules and regulations. Coordinate with the civil engineering and the security forces ten (10) days prior to start of work is required. This project is to repair, prepare and apply a new Dryvit Ameristone finish over the existing coated exterior. All surfaces will be properly prepared and high pressure washed prior to re-finishing. Final finish will be a 100% acrylic-based finish with mult i-colored quartz aggregates, champagne gray in color. No spraying will be allowed during wet, windy, or cold weather. Compliance with the manufacturers instructions will be enforced. The contractor shall verify the compatibility of the new and existing coa tings. The government will furnish all utilities. The new coating shall be warranted against defects for a period of one year. This project work shall not interfere with the operation of the surrounding shops or operations. No cleaning, rinsing, or disposal of an y material at or near any storm drains will be permitted. This work will be completed in 30 days from time of contract award. Acceptance of the finished product will be at the discretion of the government representative. This procurement is set aside for small business. The Davis Bacon Act wage rates apply to this procurement. General Decision Number: OR030001 09/03/2004 OR1 Contractor insurance requirement: Workers compensation and employers liability. Contractors are required to comply with applicable federal and state workers compensation and occupational disease statutes. Employers liability coverage of at least $100,000 shall be required. General liability. Bodily liability insurance of at least $500,000 per occurrence. Automobile liability. Automobile liability insurance for bodily injury and property damage liability covering the operation of all automobiles used in co nnection in performing the contract in the amounts of at least $200,000 per person, $500,000 per occurrence for bodily injury, and $20,000 per occurrence for property damage.
