Description

The 38 Engineering Installation Group/Contracting has a requirement for nonpersonal services for local telephone exchange services for 354 CS, Eielson AFB AK. The proposed contract is for five years. The local exchange service provider certified by Alaska PUC shall provide local commercial communications service for 354 CS, Eielson AFB AK. Local communications service shall include, as a minimum but not limited to, local access for commercial business lines, toll restriction, call forwarding, call waiting, caller ID, caller ID call waiting, automatic call reject, speed dialing, 3-way calling, distinctive ring, 411 directory service, automatic recall and automatic call block. Competition is open to domestic and foreign sources. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered. Sources responding to this synopsis must indicate, in writing, whether they are large, small, disadvantaged and/or a women-owned businesses. In order to be eligible for award of this Request for Quote (RFQ), offerors may be required to have a Basic Agreement with this office. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
