- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Purchase Request number is F13EDS42171400 as a Request for Quote using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for certain commercial items found at FAR Subpart 13.5. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) change notice 20040625. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. This acquisition is for the Squadron Officer College on Maxwell AFB, Alabama. This acquisition is being issued on an unrestricted basis. The North American Industrial Classification System Code is 423110 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The Government intends to issue a firm-fixed price purchase order. Line Item 0001: Two (2) Toro 2wd Workman 3200-Heavy Duty Motorized work carts for transportation, mission support, and field maintenance. Specifications: ENGINE: B&S Daihatsu 950G, 31 hp 4-cycle, water-cooled, 950 cc 3-cylinder, overhead camshaft, counterbalanced gasoline engine. Rear engine location direct coupled to a transaxle. 12-volt electric starter and fuel pump. Full pressure lubrication with spin-on oil filter. Exhaust emissions meet 2002 C.A.R.B for specialty vehicle engines and 2002 EPA regulations. BED HEIGHT: 30?. Additional specifications should be similar to TORO Workman 3000/4000 Series vehicles. Each vehicle should contain the following accessories: Remote Hydraulics Kit: 4.25 gallons per minute flow, up, down and float valve. Full Flatbed Side Kit: long bed side panels, includes tailgate w/ fixed pivot. 64.5? x 54.7? x 11? outside. 62.5? x 50.7? x 11? inside. 20 cu. Ft. capacity weight 90 lbs. Tailgate release. The manufacturer is Toro, may be brand name or equal. The desired delivery date is 27 Sep, 2004. Ship the entire quantity to Ritchey Center, 251 Sycamore St., Maxwell AFB, AL, 36112-6015. Shipping charges should be included in quote.
