Description

This project consists of forest-wide trail bridge replacement or repair at various locations within the Angeles National Forest. The work includes the demolition of existing structures, minor excavation and construction of concrete sills, construction of composite treated timber and glued laminated superstructures, and compacted and graded approach fill. Also included is the repair of a Bailey truss superstructure involving replacement of timber deck members, and preparing and painting the steel bridge components. Government estimate is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. NAICS code 237130 SBA size standard $28.5 million. Contact time is 110 calendar days. Estimated start date October 4, 2004. Contractors must be registered with Central Contractors Registration before an award can be made. Registration can be done online @http://www.ccr.gov.
