Description
This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce On Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. Description. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to purchase TEMTROL Air Handler Units on a specific make and model basis, with competition limited to authorized TEMTROL distributors (TEMTROL, Inc., PO Box 409, Okarche, OK 73762). TEMTROL equipment forms the existing HVAC system at the Pentagon. The required Air Handler/Fan Section Units form a filtration system that will be incorporated into the existing Pentagon TEMTROL Air Conditioning System. The required Air Handler Units must be 100% compatible with the existing TEMTROL equipment and capabilities. The required item and quantity is: TEMTROL Model 1TF-CF74, SN P418105-003-00, quantity 3 Each. Required delivery is within 12 Weeks after date of order under F.O.B. Destination terms to the Pentagon Building, Washington, D.C. 20301. Any offered alternatives must as a minimum: (1) provide 100 percent compatibility without jeopardizing the current Pentagon Renovation Project?s Air Cond! itioning System capabilities and/or schedule, and (2) provide immediate capability to start operations after the new and existing equipment is interfaced and plugged into established outlets. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY REQUEST FOR QUOTATION, AS ALL ITEMS ARE SPECIFIED UNDER THIS NOTICE. SUBMIT FAXED, SIGNED AND DATED QUOTATIONS NLT 2:00 P.M. EST 20 SEPT 2004 to 540-653-6810. IT IS THE OFFEROR?S RESPONSIBILITY TO ASSURE THAT THE QUOTE IS RECEIVED TIMELY AND THAT IT IS LEGIBLE AND COMPLETE. AS A MINIMUM, QUOTATIONS MUST INCLUDE: (1) Reference to Quotation Number N00178-04-Q-3067, (2) The quoter?s name, address, point of contact, phone number and email address, (3) Clear identification of offered product manufacturer, model number, quantity and price, (4) The offered delivery time, (5) Descriptive literature for any/all non-TEMTROL offered product (NTE 5 pages), which clearly addresses the above minimum requirements, (6) Evidence of the quoter?s status as an au! thorized TEMTROL distributor, and (7) Quoter?s CAGE, TIN and DUNS Numbers. QUOTES FAILING TO SUBMIT THE ABOVE INFORMATION MAY BE EXCLUDED FROM CONSIDERATION. All responsible sources may submit a proposal to NSWCDD, Bldg 183, Room 106, Code XDS13, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100, which shall be considered by the Agency. Award is to be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. See Note 22. Closing time and date is 2:00 P.M. EST 20 SEPT 2004.
