Description

Request for quote for contractor to provide all personnel, tools, transportation, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary to operate and manage linen exchange services at Lackland AFB and Medina Annex Texas in accordance with industry standard practices. The base linen exchange provides the base exchange point for all items authorized. The base laundry and dry cleaning contractor collects the items from the laundry and dry cleaning service provider and returns the items to the linen exchange point.. The period of performance: Base Year CLIN 0001 (10 mos) 1 Dec 2004-30 Sep 2005) with four option years POP: (1 Oct 200X-30 Sep 200X ) (12 month periods). Service to be performed at Lackland AFB TX in accordance with the Statement of Work. This is a commerical service IAW AFI 63-124 The appropriate storage facilities and linens will be provided by the government. The solicitation will be available on or about 13 September 2004, using the commercial format (FAR 12). The solicitation must be downloaded from www.fedbizopps.gov, as no paper copies will be issued. This acquisition will be made under a 100% total small business set aside. The NAICS code is 811212. The size standard is $21,000,000 million. All interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award. CCR can be obtained by accessing www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2423. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that will be considered by the agency.
