Description

The work involves Janitorial Services for approx. 26,717 sq ft of office space for the BOR, WY Area Office Complex, Mills, WY. The term of the contract will be from date of award through 9-30-2005, 12 months with options to extend up to two additional one year terms. This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation #05SQ6A0005 is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). All quoters to reference this RFQ# and shall be submitted by 4pm, local time, on 9-22-2004. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-19. This acquisition is set aside for small businesses. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 561720 and the small business size standard is 14.0 million. This combined Synopsis/Solicitation will be awarded as a lump sum with the following breakdown: Line Item 1: 12 months approximately 26,717 sq ft of office space for the WY Area Office according to the Statement of Work (SOW); Line Item 2: Shampoo all carpeted areas; wash all windows inside and out; strip, wax and buff all tile floors in all buildings during the month of November according to the Statement of Work; Line Item 3: Same as Item #2, except the janitorial services will be performed during the month of April. Period of award from 10-1-2004 to 9-30-2005 with option #1 from 10-1-2005 to 9-30-2006, and option #2 from 10-1-2006 to 9-30-2007. Site visit is highly recommended and can be arranged by calling Gary Maass at 307-261-5620 during normal working hours. Destination prices required. Basis of award will be on price and past performance.
