Description

The Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center, Atlanta, GA, and Charleston, S.C. (VISN 7), requires services to batch wash Government owned linen and laundry (including but not limited to uniforms, linen, and patient wearing apparel). The VA intends to award a single contract covering both facilities. The Performance Period will be October 1, 2004 through December 31, 2004 plus three (3) option months. This procurement is for full and open competition. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 812332 with a standard size of $12 million. The solicitation will be issued on or about September 10, 2004. Requests for hardcopy solicitation must be in writing to the Contracting Officer. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. FAX requests will be accepted at 478-274-5609. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will be available at the URL addresses. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments. If you are downloading the solicitation, it is strongly recommended that you complete the solicitation mailing list available on the web site. This procurement is subject to the availability of FY 2005 Funds.
