Description

This is a notice of intent to issue a sole source contract with Network Appliance, Inc., Sunnyvale, CA to provide items for hardware and software maintenance support. NetApp Hardware Service, NetApp Software and NetApp Software subscriptions are the items that are found to be of proprietary product and only available from Network Appliance Inc. This support is unique and needed in order to provide the support requested. NAICS code 334414(500 employees) applies. Offerors who can furnish the required items, may submit, in writing, a proposal and identification of Central Contractor Registration. All responses must be received with the time indicated above. All responses from responsible sources submitting the required information will be considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the Contracting Officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to the intended vendor and all firms that respond to this synopsis of intent. A request for solicitation will not be considered an adequate response to the synopsis, but if a solicitation is issued, a notice will be provided to such requestor that a solicitation has been issued. No contract award will be made on the basis of any responses to this notice.****
