PRON: AX4C0592AX; NSN: 1650-01-119-7354; P/N: 145H6701-2; QUANTITY: 90 each minimum and 450 each maximum for a five-year Indefinite Delive ry Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract; Restricted to: The Boeing Company, Cage Code 77272; Transaero,Inc, Cage Code 27541; and HTD Aerospace, Cage Code 33068. Acquisition is applicable to the CH-47 Chinook Aircraft with F.O.B. origin deliveries to Texarkana, TX 75507-5000 and Corpus Christi, TX 78419-5255. Required delivery with First Article Testing (FAT) is 10 each 460 days after contract award (DACA) and 10 each per month thereafter until shipped complete. First Article Test Report (FATR) is due 356 DACA. Required delivery without FAT is 10 each per month starting 368 DACA. Item Number 0001AA requires a bid with FAT and Item Number 0003AA requires a bid without FAT. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). The approved source(s) retain data rights, manufacturing knowledge, or technical data that are not economically available to the Government, and the data or knowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. Firms that can produce the required item described above are encouraged to id entify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under SAR information. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be c onsidered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimate and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation, However, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalition requirements in order to be eligible for award. THIS ACQUISITION CONTAINS THE CHNICAL DATA WHOSE EXPORT IS RESTRICTED ABY THE ARMS EXPORT CONTROL ACT (Title 22, USC., SEC 2751 ET SEQ) OR THE EXPORT ADMINISTRATION ACT (Title 50, USC., APLP 2401-2402) EXECUTIVE ORDER 121470.
