Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only Request for Quote solic itation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number fo r this acquisition is W74V8H-04-T-0188 and is being issued as a request for quote. Subject request for quote will close September 14, 2004, 4:00 p.m., EST. All Request for Quotes should be completed and submitted on this date. The Requirement Description of Supplies/Services: (1) 1 each Easy CD Creator 6  Basic VLP Media Kit; (2) 4,500 each Easy CD Creator 6-Basic VLP License Conversion; (3) 4,500 each Easy CD Creator Premium Support Maintenance for Roxio Easy CD Creator. The period of performance for this effort will be from October 1, 2004 through September 30, 2005. Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (JUN 1999) 52.212-1; Evaluation-Commercial Items (JAN 1999), 52.212-4; Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (FEB 2002); 52.212-5 Contr act Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (JUN 2003). This will be a best value procurement, price and other factors considered. The Government will award a contract resulting from this combined synopsis/s olicitation to the responsible Offeror whose proposal conforming to this synopsis/solicitation that will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
