- Solicitation Number: W9124R-04-T-0072 Response Date: Noon MST, 22 September 2004 The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona, has a requirement for service and maintenance of various crane and hoists located in multiple locations basewide. This a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accord ance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) PART 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the o nly solicitation, proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is being solicited as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) applicable to this acquisition is 811310 with a size standard of $6M. All prospective offerors must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration. Offerors may register online at https://www.ccr.dlis.dla.mil/ccr/scripts/index.html The contract will include a 12-month base period and (4) one-year option periods. The contract type will be firm fixed price. The government proposes to solicit quotes for the following items: (1) Furnish all labor, material and equipment necessary to prov ide an annual maintenance and certification on 27 overhead cranes, 13 hoists, and 2 monorails, to include, but not limited to: lubes, oil change and adjustments. Contractors shall propose a fixed price for this service for the base year and 4 option period s. See http://www.yuma.army.mil/contracting/index.html for a complete listing of all machines. (2) Perform minor and emergency repairs. Include hourly labor rate (regular and after hours), initiated by a service call. Response time for emergency call shall be within 24 hours and 24-48 hours for unscheduled breakdown calls. (3) Perform three inspections due to usage and age of the following cranes: Sierra 40/5 Ton, SN: M226C, Sierra 10 Ton, SN: M226A, Sierra 10/5 Ton, SN: M226B, Checo 25/5 Ton, SN:108631. Co ntractor must have bucket truck for all calls (breakdowns & maintenance). The Government intends to award a contract to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the proposal will be the most advantageous to the Government based on past performance and price.
