Description

The ACA, ARCC, Directorate of Contracting, Fort McCoy, WI, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Rental Service Corporation, 2809 La Crosse Street, La Crosse, Wisconsin, for a follow-on acquisition for 8 diesel powered electric generators; 5 Atlas Copelco AQS 228 mobile and 3 Atlas Copelco AQS 78 mobile generators. The generators are being purchased under a lease with option to purchase. The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed purchase order using FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquistion Pr ocedures. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the Government will consider all quotes received within five (5) business days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered s olely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The DOC, Fort McCoy, Wisconsin, intends to award a sole source contract five (5) business days after publication of this notice.
