- The 319th Contracting Squadron at Grand Forks AFB, ND is contemplating an award. FUNDS ARE NOT PRESENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS REQUEST FOR QUOTE. THE GOVERNMENT MAY CANCEL THIS RFQ AT ANY TIME IF FUNDS DO NOT BECOME AVAILABLE. IF FUNDS DO BECOME AVAILABLE THE GOVERNMENT WILL ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER TO THE VENDOR WHO SUPPLIES THE SUCCESSFUL QUOTE. This award will be a firm fixed price purchase order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) for the purchase of 1 EA Satellite Simulator, with outdoor weather resistant enclosure (Manufacturer: Narda Satellite Networks. Model Number TSS-CXK-WR or equal. Color: Tan). Offerors quotation must be good through 30 Sep 04. This is a combined synopsis/ solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subparts 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Purchase Request number is F73SCD42110200 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) FA4659-04-Q-0033. The solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-23 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. This solicitation is Unrestriced in accordance with FAR Part 19. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 517410, size standard $12,500,000. The following are mandatory system requirements for the subject purchase: CLIN 0001: 1 EA Satellite Simulator, with outdoor weather resistant enclosure. Manufacturer: Narda Satellite Networks. Model number: TSS-CXK-WR. Or Equal. Specifications: Simulator must cover all three SHF satellite bands to include C, X, and Ku and be able to translate up and down frequencies to simulate satellite up and down link translation. Simulator needs to have built in wideband horn antennas and adjustable gain. Award will be based on price, and delivery. Discussions may not be held with offerors; therefore, each offeror?s initial quote should be complete and accurate. FOB point is Grand Forks AFB. Delivery is to be made to Grand Forks AFB and prices should include deivery. The Government desires FOB Destination. Anyone not quoting FOB Destination should include estimated freight/shipping cost with their quote. The required delivery date is 30 days after receipt of award.
