Description

BLDG 213 STANDING SEAM METAL ROOF REPAIR, ALTUS AFB, OK. A firm fixed price purchase order will be awarded from the solicitation resulting from this synopsis. The period of performance will be approximately 90 days. The scope of work will consist of removing all existing roofing materials to the roof deck to include but not limited to flashing, water diverters, panels, ballasts, rigid insulation, gutters, snow guards, fascia and trim materials. The contractor shall remove existing skylights if determined to be damaged, dispose of the damaged materials. Undamaged materials shall be saved and reused in reinstallation of roofing system. The contractor shall also replace any damaged roofing materials to include but not limited to skylights, framing member, decking materials, rigid insulation, ballasts, panels, water diverters, flashings, snow guards, gutters, fascia, and trim materials with new materials to match existing. THE NAICS CODE FOR THIS ACQUISITION IS 238160. The solicitation will be issued as Full and Open Competition, set aside for HubZone businesses located in Oklahoma and Texas. The magitude of this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. THIS IS A UNFUNDED REQUIREMENT AT THIS TIME. The solicitation package will be issued in the form of a Request for Proposal (RFP) and will be made available for downloading via the Internet Electronic Posting Site, www.eps.gov on approximately 10 Sept 04. PROSPECTIVE CONTRACTORS MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE DEPT OF DEFENSE (DOD) CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (CCR) DATABASE PRIOR TO AWARD OF THIS OR ANY GOVERNMENT CONTRACT. THE WEBSITE FOR REGISTRATION IS LOCATED AT WWW.EPS.GOV. OFFERORS ARE FURTHER ADVISED THAT FAILURE TO REGISTER IN THE DOD CCR DATABASE WILL RENDER YOUR FIRM INELIGIBLE FOR AWARD. REGISTRATION REQUIRES APPLICANTS TO HAVE A DUNS NUMBER. IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT ALL PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS REGISTER IMMEDIATELY TO ENSURE ELIGIBILITY FOR AWARD.
