Description

The HQ Air Intelligence Agency Contracting Branch at Lackland AFB, TX intends to make a sole source award to Linux NetWorx, Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302. The following items are being solicited: CLIN 0001 ? Base Node Configuration System; Pentium Xeon 3.2 GHz, PC533 processor, 2MB Cache with Linux BIOS and cluster Management utilities and Super Micro X5DPR-iG2 (1 ea); CLIN 0002 ? Windows Node Configuration System; Pentium Xeon 3.2 GHz, PC533 Processor, 2 MB Cache with Super Micro X5DPR-iG2, 256 MB PC2700 DDR Memory, Seagate UDMA EIDE hard drive (1 ea); CLIN 0003 ? Rack, Network, and Peripherals; Smart Online 10KVA UPS HARDWIRE 208/240V 3U RACK/TOWER W/BATT PK, Vertical Sub-Cabinet for Evolocity .8U System, LNXI Cabinet, Cisco Stackwise and Catalyst 3750 switch (1 ea). CLIN 0004 ? Master Host Node; Intel Pentium Xeon 3.06 GHz, PC533 Processor, 1MB L3 Cache, 2U Chassis, 1 GB REG/ECC DDR SDRAM, Seagate UDMA EIDE hard drive, APC 1U Rackmount 15 IN LCD monitor, 3Ware EIDE RAID controller, DVD-ROM, Super Micro X5DPE-G2 (1 ea). CLIN 0005 ? Clusterworx Management Software; Clusterworx 3.0 Master Node License and Clusterworx 3.0 Standard Software (1 ea). CLIN 0006 ? ICE Box Hardware Management Utility; Integrated Cluster Environment (ICE) Box (1 ea). CLIN 0007 ? System Integration; required to build systems and load software, configured Red Hat Linux, PVM and MPI, PBS v2.3.14, system integration, testing in-house and burn-in (1 ea). CLIN 0008 ? Service and Support; service contract for 32-Node, dual AMD MP1800 +cluster, one day cluster administration training, on-site system installation, integration and training (1 ea). This procurement is being conducted using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Therefore, this combined synopsis/ solicitation shall serve as a request for quote (RFQ) numbered F5453B41901900. All items are FOB: Destination for delivery to 453 EWS/EWA, 102 Hall Blvd, Ste 305, San Antonio, TX 78243, Attn: Capt Mark Reith (210)-977-4524. Offerors are required to provide the unit and extended prices. This procurement is being issued as 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334111, size standard is 1000 employees. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Fac 2001-14, Effective 23 Jun 2003. The following provisions/clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items; and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items.
