Description

The South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS) Audie L. Murphy Division has a requirement for the Abbott Vascular Devices Xceed and Xpert Stents. The Audie L. Murphy VA Hospital, San Antonio, TX, proposes to negotiate and award a sole source consignment contract to Abbott Vascular, Inc. Contract will be for base year and two twelve-month options to renew. Abbott Vascular, Incorporated, is to provide the following part numbers, 14834-01, 14852-01, 14853-01, 14854-01,14869-01,14870-01,14827-01,14828-01,14841-01,148420-01,14576- 0 ,14575-01 and 14578-01. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation subpart 13.501(a)(2)(I), test program, using simplified acquisition procedures and Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The NAICS Code for this procurement is a 423450 and 500 employees. Interested persons may identify interest and ability to respond to this requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements must give written notification to the Contracting Officer within five (5) days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Information received will be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responses must be submitted no later than 4:30 p.m., CST, September 20, 2004.
