Description
The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ), Professional Development Center (PDC), Frederick, MD, intends to procure janitorial services for the period beginning October 1, 2004 through September 30, 2005. Submit faxed quotations to Purchasing Section at (612) 370-2136, Attention Joanne Mann. Award will be firm fixed price. Small business set-aside. NAICS 561720, business size $12 million. QUOTATIONS ARE DUE SEPTEMBER 15, 2004, BY 10:00 A.M. local time. Simplified procurement procedures will be used as well as commercial item acquisition regulations per FAR 12. THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. On a quarterly basis, tile areas are to be stripped, waxed, and buffed using a non-slip wax; carpet areas are to be shampooed. Contractor shall have completed a background check for all employees providing service for this requirement.
