- Description
- This is amendment 0002 to this RFQ. This amendment answers additional questions from industry. 16. Q: In order to provide a reasonable level of effort, we would like to know how many exercises do you anticipate conducting each year and what type (classroom, table top, large scale, etc.) A: We anticipate one major CJCS sponsored relocation exercise per year, one table top exercise and quarterly drills for a total of six exercises. 17. Q: Would you consider exercise development on a part time basis with the individual(s) developing the exercise located at a contractor facility vice a government facility? A: Yes 18. Q: Place of Performance; in one area it states work will be performed at a government facility and at the end of the RFQ it states Place of Performance as 701 S. Courthouse Road. Is the Place of Performance 701 S. Courthouse Road? A: Yes 19. Q: It is stated that parking is the responsibility of the contractor. Does that mean if the Place of Performance is at 701 S. Courthouse the contractor will not be able to utilize the lower parking lot? A: No, contractors can park in the lower lot or on the compound if they have a government sticker. If the contractor must be at a government site that has paid parking, the contrator is responsible for paying, and this expense will not be reimbursed. 20. Q: In preparing the cost estimate for the various trips should 701 S. Courthouse Road be used as the point of origin for mileage calculations? A: Yes 21. Q: In preparing the cost estimate for the various trips, will the option years have the same or similar number of trips per year? A: Yes 22. Q: Does Daily "maintenance oversight" include O&M and at what level (operator, systems administration, etc.) A: It includes O&M at the SA level. 23. Q: Will the network engineer work for the DISA IT department or be part of GO52? A: The winning contractor's personnel will be assigned to support the DISA Mission Assurance & Continuity Program. If an innovative proposal is submitted that satisfies the statement of work and does not require a network engineer, it will be considered. 24. Q: Will the network engineer reside at local government facility and travel to the COOP sites or will he/she be required to reside at one of the COOP sites? A: It is expected that the NE will work at one site and travel to the others as required. However, if an innovative proposal is submitted that satisfies the statement of work and does not require such contractor personnel placement, it will be considered. 25. Q: Is the on site and COOP Site support 24 hours a day 365 days a year or only during exercises? A. We anticipate contractor personnel will work normal work hours (7a.m - 4p.m.) Monday-Friday, except holidays, and that additional hours may be required to support exercises. 26. Q: Is there sufficient space to possibly house 4-6 FTE's at the government site? A: Yes 27. Q: The RFQ was listed as fully open. Are there additional points awarded for submitting a proposal as a small veteran owned business? A: The evaluation criteria is stated in the RFQ. No further information on the evaluation is releasable to the public. 28. Q: Is there any chance of getting an extension to this RFQ? A: No.
