Description

This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport intends to award a contract to National Instruments Corporation of Austin, Texas for components for RFDACS (OK664) Systems. The fielded RFDACS (OK664) system is currently in Pre Material Support Date (MSD) status. Only the following components meet the system specification: P/N 78296-01, VXI PC ? 872B/1.26GHz Windows 2000 Installed, 2 each; P/N 778469-256, 256 MB RAM FOR NI 8171 Series and VXI PC ? 870B & 770 Series, 4 each; and P/N 777357-02, PCI-CAN/2 Series 2 for Win 2000/NT/XP/9X, 2 Port, 2 each. FAR Parts 12 and 13 procedures will be followed. No formal solicitation will be issued. Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Instead, they may be accessed at our web site http://www.npt.nuwc.navy.mil/contract/. We also provide electronic access in our Bid Room.
