- This synopsis is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) for services to provide expert support services to address the development and maintenance of partnerships between the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Business Development Office for the Naval Aviation TEAM and the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) consisting of planning, conducting, and following up on meetings, preparing and coordinating support proposals to the USCG contributing to the development of effective strategies to effectively present the advantages of partnering, monitoring and assisting with coordination of ongoing tasking and supporting Naval Aviation TEAM process improvement efforts which include the definition of current processes, associating costs, and core capabilities involved and investigating alternative approaches to achieve greater efficiency and improved service. Per Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 8.001, responses are sought only from General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule holders under SIN 874-1, Consulting Services. No requests received from non-schedule holders will be considered. The period of performance shall commence 23 September 2004 and end 22 September 2005. The primary place of performance is NAWCAD Patuxent River, Maryland, with potential travel to Washington, DC, and Groton, Connecticut. NOTE: This tasking requires an investigator deeply familiar with Naval Aviation Partnership capabilities and business development processes to enable the identification and development of mutually beneficial partnerships with the USCG to enable the contractor to identify and coordinate new business opportunities between compatible components of the USCG establishment and Naval Aviation Partnership components. All responsible GSA Schedule holders under SIN 874-1 may submit a quotation that shall be considered by the agency. Quotes are due to Ms. Mary Sandy, Contract Specialist, Code 251719, NO LATER THAN 2:00 p.m. (EDT) on September 15, 2004 and may be submitted by either e-mail (mary.sandy@navy.mil) OR by facsimile (301/757-0200).
