Description

This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and an award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. a) This Specification is for the delivery and tail gate spread of 5,000 tons of AHD57, Alabama State Department of Transportation, Standard Specification, for AHD57. SIC Code: 1442, NAICS Code: 212319, Size Standard: 500 employees. AHD57 must be delivered to Mountain Longleaf NWR, in Fort McClellan, Alabama. This is a total small business set-aside. A firm fixed price commercial order will be issued. Anticipated award date will be on or about 09/17/2004. b) This Specification is for the delivery and tail gate spread of 2,500 tons of Dense graded base, Alabama State Department of Transportation, Standard Specification, for Dense graded base. SIC Code: 1442, NAICS Code: 212319, Size Standard: 500 employees. Dense graded base must be delivered to Mountain Longleaf NWR, in Fort McClellan, Alabama. This is a total small business set-aside. A firm fixed price commercial order will be issued. Anticipated award date will be on or about 09/17/2004. c) This Specification is for the delivery and tail gate spread of 20 tons of 8910 Screenings, Alabama State Department of Transportation, Standard Specification, for 8910 Screenings. SIC Code: 1442, NAICS Code: 212319, Size Standard: 500 employees. 8910 Screenings must be delivered to Mountain Longleaf NWR, in Fort McClellan, Alabama. This is a total small business set-aside. A firm fixed price commercial order will be issued. Anticipated award date will be on or about 09/17/2004. d) This Specification is for the delivery and tail gate spread of 1,000 tons of 1 ? Crusher Run, Alabama State Department of Transportation, Standard Specification, for 1 ? Crusher Run. SIC Code: 1442, NAICS Code: 212319, Size Standard: 500 employees. 1 ? Crusher Run must be delivered to Mountain Longleaf NWR, in Fort McClellan, Alabama. This is a total small business set-aside. A firm fixed price commercial order will be issued. Anticipated award date will be on or about 09/17/2004. The Fish and Wildlife Service is presently using Electronic Commerce (EC) to issue Request for Quotations and Purchase Orders. You must register in EC at web site http://www.ccr.gov. Must be registered before close of RFQ. If you have any registration questions, please call 1-888-227-2423. Prior to registering each company must obtain a Dun and Bradstreet Number. You may obtain this number free of charge at 1(800)333-0505. Once you are registered you will be able to view quotes on line at either http://www.fedbizopps.gov or http://ideasec.nbc.gov (the Department of Interior site). For questions at Interior's site, please call the help desk at (703)390-6633. This will be your only means of obtaining the solicitation/award. All contractors with access to the internet and an e-mail address can receive electronic notifications of award. CAUTION: This solicitation has been issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Thus, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidder's mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for proposal receipts may render your offer non-responsive and result in the rejection of same.
