This FEDERAL BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY announcement is a notice that TRICARE S outheast that include all DOD Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) in the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Southcom are in the process of standardizing Disposable Anesthesia Breathing Circuits as listed in the subject line above. Companies must obtain, or be in the process of obtaining, a Distribution and Pricing Agreements (DAPAs) with the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia for these items to be eligible to participate in the standardization process. Base company criteria for this product line includes but is not limited to the following: must carry a full product line, must provide customer support, in the form of a sales representative for each MTF within TRICARE Region Southeast, must provide clini cal support, education programs, and utilization reports, must provide companys return policy, must be able to provide product for all MTFs within TRICARE Region Southeast through the Prime Vendor (Owens & Minor) and must provide electronic and hard-copy of proposed pricing and competitive product cross-reference. Base product criteria for this product line includes but is not limited to the following: " Disposable anesthesia breathing circuits meet ISO and ASTM standards " Circuits compatible with all anesthesia machines " Latex free " Available in adult and pediatric sizes " Available in a variety of lengths " Circuit tubing expandable/flexible " Circuit tubing is soft with consistent wall thickness and free of pinhole leaks " Clear, hard plastic components provide optimum viewing while maintaining dimensions when exposed to heat and humidity " Gas sampling elbow with 90? angle and 360? swivel " Near Parallel Fixed Wye available in Adult and Pediatric sizes " Adult Swivel Wye available with or without ports to address specialized circuit placement needs " Rebreathing Circle Systems available in 22mm Adult and 15mm Pediatric tubing configurations " Nonrebreathing Single Limb Systems available in Modified Jackson Rees, Mapleson D, Bain and CPRAM configurations " Available reusable disposable circuits for multi-patient use with HEPA filter " Available replacement HEPA filters " Optional components include temperature monitoring ports for heated humidification applications, passive humidification HMEs, filters and filtered HMEs, air cushion masks, swivel wyes, expandable tubing, gas sampling lines and latex free breathing bags Respondents must address both Base Company and Product Criteria listed above and contact Mr. Pacchiana via e-mail.
