- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) under the number FA4452-04-Q-A310. This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in affect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-22. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 423690 with 100 employee size standard. The contractor shall provide 54 each Flightcell Headset Interfaces ? Flightcell, high impedance military version, Part # Flight Cell NATO L1, with modified shielding to meet EMC standards for use on the KC-10 aircraft with a jack compatible with the PJ-068 plug, the tip is receive audio, the ring is microphone audio and the sleeve is the audio common with the following features; Headphone Sensitivity: (Ref. 0002 Dynes/cm2 @ 1mw input @ 1 khz); Headphone Usable Frequesncy Response: 100-3000 Hz; Headphone Impedance to Match Amplifier Output: 150-600 ohms; Headphone Plug: 2 conductor .250? (6.3 mm) Diameter; Microphone Type: Electret; Microphone Frequency Response: 100-10000 Hz; Microphone Output (nom.) @ 1 khz 12vdc 150 ohm load re: 1microbar: -48 db; Microphone Impedance to Match Rdio Input: 50-600 ohms; Microphone Plug (PJ-068) Equivalent: 3 conductor .206? (.523 mm) Diameter; Cord Extended Length and Style: 6? (1.8 m) Straight. This headset interface shall be a single jack system that plugs into the intercom system and iridium phone. Each unit shall contain a kit with the Flightcell headset interface, a patch cable for the satellite phone, two chargers, and an auxiliary patch cord. In accordance with 10 USC 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(c) this is a Brand Name acquisition. This requirement has been set-aside 100% for small business. This requirement is for new equipment only. Total cost includes shipping and handling. Inspection and Acceptance is FOB Destination. Equipment to be drop shipped to the following stateside locations in the stated quantities. 24 Each, 60 OG/MR 401 Burgan Blvd, Bldg P-4 Travis AFB, CA 94535 30 Each, 305 OSS/OSO 1730 Vandenberg Avenue McGuire, AFB NJ 08641 Total 54 Offerors shall provide as a response to this solicitation: (1) Price Schedule; (2) Cage Code; (3) Completed FAR Clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items. Award will be made by Purchase Order and payment will be made via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) so all offerors mist be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov to be eligible for award.
