- Description
- The National Park Service Golden Gate National Recreation Area intends to negotiate award of a noncompetitive contract to Engineered Systems Inc. of Omaha, NE for a period of eight months to obtain critical, non-critical, preventive and remedial maintenance services for the Government-owned RADIO DISPATCH AND COMMUNICATIONS SUPPORT SYSTEM (RDCSS) equipment. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, materials, software, parts, equipment, and transportation necessary to maintain the RDCSS. A limited variety of Government owned test equipment is available for contractor use in the Radio Shop. Government owned spare parts in the form of primary system boards and other critical items are cached at each radio site. The government owns a complete set of all system manuals, diagrams, and schematics. C.3.2 The contractor shall provide all levels of repair and periodic preventive, remedial maintenance to insure that all systems and subsystems of the RDCSS are fully functional and reliable. The contractor shall provide maintenance (labor and parts) and shall keep the equipment in operating condition, consistent with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) requirements. Maintenance service shall not include the furnishing of supplies. C.3.3 The contractor shall provide personnel experienced and qualified to perform the required services in accordance with OEM practices and standards. C.4 RESPONSE AND RESTORAL TIME C.4.1 Critical Equipment Failure Response Time and Resolution Time. a. Critical -- Response Time The contractor's maintenance personnel shall arrive and provide services for critical failures or malfunctions within two (2) hours, twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week including weekends and holidays after receipt and verification of the service request. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential sources who might participate in a subsequent solicitation process at the expiration of this noncompetitive contract. This noncompetitive action is pursued IAW Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1 [41 USC 253 (c)(1)]. NAICS code is 513390.
