- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Nashville District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to award a firm fixed price contract for one (1) truck, one (1) hoist, two (2) 15 cubic feet, and two (2) 30 cubic feet roll on/off dumpsters. The award of this project will be based on best value . Contractors delivery schedule will be considered in the determination of best value. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information includ ed in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W912P5-04-T-0045 and is being issued as a Request for Proposal(RFP). The solicit ation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-15. This procurement shall be a small business set aside. The NAICS Code is 336211. SPECIFICATIONS FOR TRUCK, HOIST and DUMPSTERS (attached). The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to OfferorsCommercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The offeror shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR52.212-3, Offeror Representations and CertificationsCommercial Items, and include DF ARS 252.204-6, Required Central Contractor Registration. Contractors must be registered in the DODs Central Contract Register at http://www.ccr.gov before award as required by DFARS 204.7300. The clause at FAR 52.214-4, Contract Terms and ConditionsComme rcial Items applies to this solicitation. In addition, the clause at 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive OrdersCommercial Items applies to this solicitation, as do the following additional FAR clauses cited i n this clause: 52.222-26 Equal Opportunity (E.O. 11246); 52.232-33 Payment by the Electronic Transfer Central Contractor Registration (31 U.S.C. 3332).
