A fixed quantity, firm-fixed price contract is contemplated for National Stock Number (NSN): 5340004009693NZ; Part Number: 427992; Noun: Loop Clamp. Quantity: 322 EA; Required Delivery: Delivery of 96 a month to start May 2005; Destination: Ship to FB2039; Size and Dimensions: 0.250 inches Width by 2.250 inches Nominal Round, A2 single loop. Predominant Material: Steel composition 321 band, rubber silicone class Q cushion. Form, Fit and Function: Used on all F100 engine models to support the Oil Pressure Transmitter. A fixed quantity, firm-fixed price contract is contemplated for National Stock Number (NSN): 4730013236003NZ; Part Number: 4072815; Noun: Connecting Tube. Quantity: 23; Required Delivery: Delivery of 23 to start June 2005. Destination: Ship to FB2039; Size and Dimensions: Straight Connector 0.5625-18UNJF-3A 1.520; Predominant Material: AMS 4928 TI Alloy; Fit, Form and Function: Installed into the Digital Electronic Engine Control (DEEC). Provides a means for fluid to return after DEEC cooling. Used in F100 Engines. This information applies to Both Parts: There will be three first articles as part of the production quantity and the contractor will perform testing of the first articles. The award will be made to an approved source. Qualification requirements are available for this Part Number upon request. Qualification information can be obtained form OC-ALC/BC, Attention: Source Development Office, 3001 Staff Drive Suite 1AG85A, Tinker AFB OK 73145-3009 (405) 739-7243 or (405) 739-7244. The Government plans to negotiate a sole-source contract with United Technologies Corp. ( Pratt & Whitney), 400 Main St Suite 1, East Hartford CT 06118-1888, under the authority of FAR 13.106 (b)(1), as United Technologies Corp. (Pratt & Whitney) is the only approved source. Formal solicitation will not be developed. However, if formal solicitation is requested it will be provided. Please note that the Government is not required to delay contract award in order to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of the SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and reviewed for possible source approval for future awards. To obtain required technical data, potential offerors must use TEDS at http://www.fedteds.gov/. The anticipated closing date of the solicitation will be 23 Sep 2004. All responsible sources may submit a quote that shall be considered by the Government. The award date is estimated to be on or about 24 October 2004. See Government-Wide Numbered Notes 23 and 26.
