Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA National Center for Patient Safety is currently conducting market research and seeking sources that offer commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) that are Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) compliant. NAICS Code 423430 applies. Requested information includes brochures, sample CD?s of product or web site demonstrations, commercial pricing, and commercial terms and conditions for Licenses and Maintenance Agreements. The RDBMS is intended for use in a small user group and the data storage requirements will be of varying sizes, so information regarding differing sizes and multi-user capabilities is welcome. RDBMS must be able to operate in the Windows Operating System. Also interested parties are asked to identify their small business status as a set-aside may be considered. However this request is for information only and may or may not result in an actual solicitation.
