- Anticipated Issue Date: Sep 07 2004. Anticipated Closing Date: Sep 28 2004. The Defense Commissary Agency has a requirement for Linen/Mat Rental/Cleaning/Exchange Services located at the following commissary locations: Cannon AFB, NM, Hollomon AFB, NM, Kirtland AFB, NM, White Sands, NM, Altus AFB, OK, Fort Sill, OK, Tinker AFB, OK, Vance AFB, OK, Corpus Christi, TX, Dyess, TX, Fort Bliss, TX, Fort Hood I, TX, Fort Hood II, TX, Fort Sam Houston, TX, Goodfellow AFB, TX, Kingsville NAS, TX, Lackland AFB, TX, Laughlin AFB, TX, Randolph AFB, TX and Sheppard AFB, TX. The items to be serviced under this Request for Proposal (RFP) include butcher coats, shirts, pants, bib aprons and gloves, colored smocks, cobbler aprons, bar towels and various sizes of mats and dust and wet mops. Quantities of each item will be identified in the RFP, by commissary. The contractor shall be required to provide the items in a variety of sizes. The contractor shall be required to pick up from the commissary a minimum of once each week all soiled garments, mats and mops, and drop off clean replacement garments, mats and mops at the same time. The period of performance for the 20 commissaries will be 1 November 2004 through 30 October 2005 and includes four one-year option periods. The NAICS code is 812332 and the business size standard is $12 million. This acquisition is being issued as a 10% small business set-aside, with 2 of the 20 locations (Fort Hood I and Fort Hood II) being set-aside for small business. The other 18 locations are issued as unrestricted. This RFP will be available on www.fedbizopps.gov under (ODA Other Defense Agencies). Potential offerors are encouraged to use this web site to obtain a copy of the RFP in lieu of requesting a paper copy. Request for paper copies must be in writing and mailed to Defense Commissary Agency, Attn: CBU CICDS (Janice Moore), 1300 E. Avenue, Fort Lee, VA 23801-1800, emailed to janice.moore@deca.mil or faxed to 804-734-8669. All written requests must include the RFP number, requestor's name, address, phone, fax number and email. By submitting an offer, the offeror acknowledges the requirement to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database prior to award of any contract or purchase order. Information about CCR registration may be found at www.ccr.gov. All responsible sources may submit a proposal for consideration for one or more locations. Multiple awards are anticipated.
