Description

The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) intends to negotiate solely with VWR International Incorporated, Bridgeport, New Jersey to furnish and deliver a Kingfisher 96 Automated Extraction Instrument. This instrument uses magnetic rods for pure RNA extraction. It is this extraction method that is consistent with current laboratory processes and must be maintained for consistency in research data and results. It has 96 and 384 well plates which will also increase the number of sample testing per run. Companies with the demonstrated capability and financial capacity to provide such equipment must submit a written substantive statement with descriptive literature. This information shall address the specifics of the equipment?s components and availability. This information must be submitted to the Contracting Officer within 5 days from date of publication of this notice. This is not a request for proposal. No solicitation is available.
