- NAICS Code: 334516 The purpose of this Amendment is to answer questions regarding the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for the portable high volume radioactive air sampling equipment. The questions and answers are as follows: Q1. Will the air sampler be calibrated before a different type of filter media is installed? A1. Yes. It is expected that the units will be calibrated in-house before each use. Q2. Shall the units come with a weather enclosure? A2. Yes. Q3. Would it be possible to supply a sampler that is weather resistant without an enclosure? A3. Offerors may supply a weather resistant system but will still need an enclosure. Q4. What rating should the units comply with for the weather conditioned enclosures; NEMA12 or 4X? A4. While neither rating is specifically required, the air samplers will be used in all types of outdoor conditions throughout the U.S. and possibly overseas. As such, the units must be able to withstand all types of weather conditions. Q5. What are the absolute upper and lower flow rates? Does the sampler need to accurately measure flow rates below 3 CFM or above 30 CFM? A5. The flow rates shall measure approximately 3 to 30 CFM. Q6. Please confirm that the delivery date of the merchandise can be after September 30, 2004. A6. The date of delivery will be 90 Days after receipt of purchase order (ARO).
