Description

VA VISN 22 Network Business Center intends to negotiate a commercial (FAR Part 12) sole source contract with Asbuilt Information Services, Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-24. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A justification for other than full and open competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. This procurement is to obtain software updates, installation services and product support required to maintain the Archibus/FM integrated CAFM system for Veterans Affairs Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS). The procurement will specifically provide for software subscription for Archibus/FM and Archibus 3rd party products in our current CAFM inventory, bi-weekly on-site support to include software installation, hardware and software integration, CAD drafting, CAFM consulting services which includes training, telephone and email support. The Government intends to award a firm, fixed price contract for one (1) year considered as the base year, with the Government?s option to exercise four (4), one (1) year renewal periods, for the delivery of the aforementioned services to the VAGLAHS, Los Angeles CA Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a proposal. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All proposals received by 3:00 P.M. Pacific Daylight Time, September 8, 2004, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
