Description

This combined synopsis/solicitation is for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is HE1254-04-Q-0201 and issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The action will be processed using simplified acquisition procedures and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24. The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) is an academic activity and qualifies for academic/education pricing. DoDEA needs to purchase Vernier software package. Quotation shall include the offeror's best and final offer. FSC Code: 7030, ADP Software; NAICS Code: 423430 -- Computer and Computer Peripheral Equipment and Software Merchant, Size Standard: 500 Employees. All inquiries must be submitted in writing via email at james.church@hq.dodea.edu. No information concerning this solicitation or requests for clarification will be provided in response to telephone calls. THE FOLLOWING ITEMS SHALL BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING. Offerors shall include the completed SF-1449 for the RFQ signed, and dated. Offers are due in this office at the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA), Procurement Division, 4th Floor, 4040 N. Fairfax Drive, Arlington, VA 22203-1635 no later than 3:00 PM., EST, Thursday, September 9, 2004. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database (www.ccr.gov/) and Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) are mandatory. Offerors are responsible for downloading the solicitation, on Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) at http://www.esp.gov.
