Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), St. Inigoes, MD intends to solicit a purchase order on a sole source basis with C.R. International Inc., located at 11850 Baltimore Ave, Suite G, Beltsville MD 20705-1562 to provide radio components spares to support the Special Operation Force Craft Riverine (SOCR) Tactical Radio System (TRS). The items to be procured include the following: CLIN 0001 P/N:9819150-R4 PCB Motherboard (Qty 5); CLIN 0002 P/N:9819151-R2 REV C PCB Power Supply (Qty 5); CLIN 0003 P/N:981953 R4 REV B PCB Radio Interface (Qty 15); CLIN 0004 P/N:9819154 REV B Station Interface (Qty 8); CLIN 0005 P/N:9819155R2 Processor (Qty 5); CLIN 0006 P/N:9819250-R2 REV B Crew Station Main (Qty 13). This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority 41 U.S.C. 256(c) and 10 U.S.C. 2034(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source. The Tactical Radio System (TRS) requires identical replacements to regain reliable communications. International Inc. is the manufacture and distributor of the required radio components. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties may submit information within 14 days after synopsis is published and will be considered by this agency. A determination not to compete this procurement action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. The Government will not pay for any information received. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334418.
