Description

Vicksburg Consolidated Contracts Office intends to solicit on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to Paper Thin, Inc. 300 Congress Street, Suite 303, Quincy, MA 02169. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisitio n Procedures (SAP)  only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Paper Thin is the only provider that offers the proprietary Commonspot Content Management System software and the only vendor that is capab le of meeting the Governments requirements of compatibility. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identifi ed point of contact not later that 4:00 CST on 7 September 2004. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. No RFP will be issued ba sed upon this Notice of Intent. Interested parties may submit any information for consideration by the Government to Elizabeth.j.Kelley@mvk02.usace.army.mil with solicitation number referenced in the subject line.
