Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation W911S2-04-T-0086 is issued as a Request for Quotes. Solicitation documents and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulations. The stan dard industrial code is 3441 (NAICS code 332312) and the business size standard is 500 employees. Furnish and deliver the following items: Furnish and deliver 1 each, Self Propelled rail car loading/unloading ramp. Buck Equipment Model CDSP-304M 30,000 lb capacity or comparable. Options required include, 4 wheel steering, Bridge plate handrails and 750CCA Battery. Include a trained technician as well as operator and preventative maintenance training. The following clauses and provisions are applicable to this acquisition: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, 52.212-3, Offeror Representati ons and Certifications-Commercial Items (returned with your offer), 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders, 252.212.7001-Contract Terms and Conditi ons required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items (JUNE 2004).
