- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice constitutes the only solicitation. Price quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, DTCG28-05-P-7MD502, is issued as an unrestricted Request For Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses and provisions are available via Internet address: http://www.arnet.gov/far/. First consideration will be to small business concerns, but not limited to only small business. Item description: Lodging, 2 double-occupancy units, in two locations 1 unit each: First location U S Coast Guard Marine Safety Office located at 7820 Arlington Expwy, Jacksonville FL. Second location MSD Port Canaveral 9235 Grouper Road, Port Canaveral, FL. The geographic locations for consideration are limited to facilities located within 15 minutes driving time from each location. Check in October 1, 2003 through January 31, 2005. Units must be furnished with linens, housekeeping, telephone, cable TV services, and parking. Indicate the distance (mileage) from your facility to this location. Include all available amenities, check in and check out times, and cancellation policy. Due to the difficulties in estimating the US Coast Guard Reservists? recall, the Government reserves the right to notify the vendor within 72 hours of cancellation of this contract. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation and most advantageous to the government price and other cost factors considered, AND COMPLIANT WITH THE HOTEL AND MOTEL FIRE SAFETY ACT OF 1990. OFFERER SHALL INCLUDE ITS FEMA NUMBER, WHICH IS REGISTERED WITH THE US FIRE ADMINISTRATION. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provisions that applies to this RFQ: 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Items (Oct 2000), 52.212.2, Evaluation-Commercial Items (Jan 1999), and 52.215-5, Facsimile Proposals (Oct 1997), FAR Clause 52-212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications, Commercial Items (May 2001) Please Read, Complete and provide all information in this solicitation particularly far provisions 52.21.-1 and 52.212-3. Offeror Representation and Certification shall submit with proposal/quote.
