Description: The Dugway Proving Ground, Directorate of Contracting is contemplating a sole source procurement with CMS Field Products, 2148 Pelham Parkway, AL 35124-1192 for the purchase and delivery of near-real-time, continuous air monitoring systems for the We st Desert Test Center located at the U.S. Army, Dugway Proving Ground, Utah installation. The products include the following: (1) 30 each MINCAMS, FIO-100, DDB-100M, FM-3001FPD systems; (2) 8 each MINICAMS, FM-3001XSD; (3) 30 each MINICAM compatible mas s flow meters, 0-2 SLPM; and (4) 13 each MINICAM compatible mini regulators. Pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), and Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, supplies, services, and/or equipment required are available from one responsible source and no othe r type of supplies, services, and/or equipment will satisfy agency requirements. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, all responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Supporting evidence must be fur nished to demonstrate the ability to comply with the Government's requirements. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with sole source negotiations with CMS Field Products. NOTE: FAR Clause 52.232-18 Availability of Funds (Apr 1984) - Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Go vernment for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
