Description

The National Institutes of Health has a requirement for comprehensive chemical and radioactive waste management services. The Contractor shall be responsible for managing and providing on-site, comprehensive waste management services for the collection, transportation, and disposal of chemical, radioactive and mixed wastes generated by the NIH at its main campus located in Bethesda, MD as well as approximately 27 off-campus facilities in Maryland. The North American Classification Code (NAICS) is 562112; the size standard is $10,500,000. The Government anticipates award of a fixed-price, requirements type contract. The contract shall be for a period of one year commencing April 1, 2005 and include four successive 12-month option periods. A pre-proposal conference will be held at 9 a.m. on September 14, 2004 at the NIH, 9000 Rockville Pike, Building 21, Room 237, Bethesda, MD. Solicitation number 263-04-P(GG)-0061 will be available on or about September 3, 2004.
