- Item 0001 Noun: Propeller Shaft NSN: 2840-00-011-0692OJ, P/N: 6842657 Appl to: T56 Engine Quantity: 3 EA. Destination: To Be Determined at Time of Delivery. Qualification requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. This part must be acquired from a manufacturing source(s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of DoD-STAD-100. Suitable technical data, Government data rights, or manufacturing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from other sources, nor qualification testing of another part, nor use of a second source part in the intended application. This item is Sole Source to ROLLS ROYCE, INDIANAPOLIS, IN. New and unused government surplus is acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304[C](1), Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Faxed solicitation requests can be submitted to the buyer, Danny Schill, Tinker AFB, (405)734-8106. This proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 45 days after date of publication of this synopsis. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1.
