Description
1. DESCRIPTION: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation on a ?Brand Name or Equal? basis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This procurement is not a small business set-aside; any responsible source may submit an offer. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation M62613-04-Q-0302 is issued as a request for quote and incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circulars 01-09. ITEM 0001: Qty: 1 set MAKO AIR COMPRESSOR UNIT & COMPAIR MAKO 5400 SERIES TRAILER. Specifications/Options: Diesel Driven Trailer Breathing Air Compression System. Trailer Model 5406HBA-T (Driven by 15hp water-cooled diesel engine, 14.0 CFM, 6000 psi working pressure) -Inlet Filter -Intercooler's & aftercooler -V-belt drive with guard -Guage panel & hour-meter -Electric start -Auto stop air pressure switch with restart light -High temperature switch and light -Low oil pressure switch and light -Automatic condensate drain system -Auto drain muffler/reservoir -MK5C purification system with 57,400 CF processing ability -5000 psi TM5002 air storage system with two (2) ASME vessels -Two(2) SCBA containment fill stations -Cascade control fill panel with two(2) bank controls -Tandem axle trailer with enclosed hitch -Approximate weight: 6000 pounds ADDITIONAL REQUIRED ACCESSORIES: -Electronic Moisture Monitor -Two(2) additional ASME vesels -Dual drive diesel and 10 hp electric -Electronic CO monitor with calibration & shut-down -24 Month Warranty(Parts, Labor, Telephonic Trouble-Shooting) ***Please specify if warranty provided varies from as stated above ITEM 0002: Qty: 1 set TRAINING: Two(2) complete/individual 18-man training sessions rendered to total of 36 personnel. Training shall provide manufacturer's proper operational procedures for Start-Up, Usage, Care, and Maintenance System. Training should consists of operation and maintenance of equipment. Location of Training will be at fire station, bldg. 119. Training is to be provided in English only. Cost for travel and lodging is in accordance with joint travel regulations with government. Government will will advise contractor of applicable rates. Training shall be provided within 60 days of receipt of equipment in MCAS Iwakuni, Japan. Training will be coordinated/scheduled between MCAS Fire Chief and Contractor. 2. SUBMITTALS: One warranty in writing for parts, labor, telephonic trouble-shooting 3. SHIPPING: F.O.B Destination, The destination is Defense Distribution Center San Joaquin, 25600 Chrisman Road, Tracy, CA 95376. 4. DELIVERY DATE: Required Delivery Date is 45 days after receipt of order. 5. The following FAR/DFARS provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.211-6, 52.212-1, 52.212-3, 52.212-4, 52.212-5 Deviation, 252.212-7001, 252.225-7042, 252.229-7000.
