- Description
- The Regional Contracting Department, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii intends to award a contract for Maintenance of PerkinElmer Laboratory Equipment to PerkinElmer LAS, Inc. for Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Pearl Harbor. This requirement is unrestricted. The NAICS code is 811219 and the small business size standard is $6M. A single award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable quote. Award will be conducted under the provisions of FAR Part 12 Commercial Item and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Req! uest for Quotation number N00604-04-T-LABM applies. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24 and Defense Change Notice 20040625. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. CLIN 0001, Maintenance services of the following PerkinElmer equipment located at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii for the period 01 October 2004 through 30 September 2005. Includes parts, labor, and travel with 2 PM. CLIN 0001AA, P400 ICP Instrument, 1 ea, 12 mos. CLIN 0001AB, AS90 Flame Autosampler, 1 ea, 12 mos. CLIN 0001AC, Optima 2000DV, 1 ea, 12 mos. CLIN 0001AD, AS93 Plus, 1 ea, 12 mos. CLIN 0001AE, Polyscichiller, 1 ea, 12 mos. FOB destination. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offeror?Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications?Commercial Items; and DFARS 252.212-7000, Offerors Representations and Certifications?Commercial Items apply to this requirement. Offeror shall submit a completed copy of the provisions listed above with its offer. The following clauses apply to the requirement: FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions?Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5, Contract ! The Government plans to award a single contract resulting from t! his solicitation. Proposals shall be emailed to beverly.quevedo@navy.mil no later than 10:00 a.m., Hawaii Standard Time, 26 August 2004. Facsimile proposals will be accepted via fax (808) 473-0811. The proposed contract action is for commercial services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received by the closing date. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed effort on a full and open competitive basis, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
